Highly recommended for Golf enthusiasts The Albatross elegantly sits on the slopes of 'Coconut Hill' within the Victoria Golf Course. Overlooking the Victoria Dam and its waterways, the split level villa also enjoys wonderful views of the golf course. The Albatross is simply furnished yet providing you with all the comforts you would want. There is a private swimming pool with a jacuzzi and deck looking onto the spectacular scenery. Guests also have use of a steam/sauna room at the property. On a clear morning, the Pidurutalagala mountain peak is visible. Victoria Golf Course is a world class, 6945 yard par - 73 golf course designed by Donald Steel in a 517 acre site. The Albatross is also a perfect base for nature enthusiasts with bird watching, nature trails with canoeing and fishing practically on your door step. Guests travelling from Colombo can take an Air Taxi direct to the Victoria Waterway - this would take approximately 40 minutes.

There are 5 rooms (including a family room). All have ensuite facilities. The rooms are simply furnished. All rooms, except the family room, have air-conditioning. Guests can rent either individual rooms or the entire property.

There is a large lounge, located on the upper deck. There is a TV and DVD/VCR player. The dining room is set up like a restaurant with a number of tables and chairs. There is also a deck (with grass) where you can have a BBQ or simply eat your meals in the open. |

The rate quoted includes breakfast and dinner (half board basis). There is an excellent selection of fine food from a set menu or Ala carte. The wine selection is also pretty good. The property comes with a cook, an excellent one at that.

Breakfast included Deluxe room: US$86 per night per room Standard room: US$57 per night per room Payment Policy A 15% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via our secure server or via bank transfer. Customers must pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer. A further 35% is payable 7 days after your confirmation. This should be paid direct to Victoria Golf Club (the managing agents for Albatross) by bank transfer to Sri Lanka account. The final 50% balance is to be paid on departure direct to Villa. Cancellation Policy The deposits are non refundable. |
