Victoria is a beautiful 5 bedroom villa set in a coconut grove on the beach with landscaped gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean and located only 8 kms from the historic town of Galle. Built by a leading Australian architect for himself, Victoria is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional Sri Lankan house furnished with antique doors and furniture. Enter the property through a large garden area and float across the lily pond which opens into a large, comfortable banquette sitting area with stunning views out to the pool, gardens and the breaking waves of the Indian Ocean.

There are 5 bedrooms. The master suite with attached dressing area, 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin room. All beds are 4 poster with fitted mosquito nets and are cooled by overhead fans. Each bedroom has a garden courtyard or access to the landscaped gardens. The master suite has an en-suite bathroom with shower, bath tub and private outdoor garden shower. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite bathroom. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share an en-suite bathroom with private outdoor garden shower. Bedroom 5 has a separate bathroom.

The large sitting area is perfect for lounging on the comfortable banquette with stunning views over the garden, pool and the ocean. The enclosed dining room is set for 10 and is candle-lit for dinner each evening. The beach-front Pavilion perched above the beach with uninterrupted views of the beach is ideal for morning tea, an afternoon nap or sundowners. |

The Victoria team of staff - Cook, Steward/Houseboy, Steward/Pool Boy/Gardener and Night Watcher will ensure that your stay is truly memorable. Discuss your meal requirements with the cook who will serve you with fabulous curries and excellent western dishes. He will also shop for all your ingredients if you provide him with a float, keeping an account for your inspection. You will find it fun at least once to accompany him and visit the daily fish, fruit and vegetable markets yourself.

OUR PROMISE: We do not mark up our rates, we sell at cost. Nor do we charge you extra for on-line credit/debit card payments Pricing US$400 - US$750 for exclusive use of the villa. Payment Policy A 15% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via our secure server or via bank transfer. Customers must pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer. A further 35% is payable 7 days after your confirmation. This should be paid direct to Victoria by bank transfer to UK account. The final 50% balance is to be paid one month prior to arrival at the Villa. Cancellation Policy The deposits are non refundable. |
