Ambalama is a beautiful, new beach villa only 7 kms from the historic town of Galle. The house is entered across stepping stones over the water pool into the open plan sitting/dining area with large, teak double doors opening out to the garden, Balinese tiled pool and stunning views of the Indian Ocean. High ceilings and white terrazzo floors encourage cool air flow and louvred windows can be adjusted to capture the wonderful views from any angle.

There are 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin, each located either side of the infinite edge pool. All beds are fitted with mosquito nets. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers. 2 of the doubles also have outdoor showers.

The main sitting area is furnished with 2 large sofas, with additional seating and sun loungers on the terrace and around the pool. A circular dining table is laid for formal dining in the open plan space shared with the sitting area, or tables can be laid around the pool. |

The villa is fully staffed and includes a chef, steward and room boy. Geetha is a European trained chef who can prepare a wonderful range of western and local dishes. Simply tell her what you want and she will prepare it for you. Meals are not included in the rate. All meals can be taken where and when you require them and will be for your account. Geetha will shop for all your ingredients if you provide her with a float, keeping an account for your inspection. You may find it fun to visit the daily fish, fruit and veg markets yourself.

Nor do we charge you extra for on-line credit/debit card payments Pricing Low Season (01 June - 31 July / 01 Sep - 30 Nov ): $ 700 per night High Season (August): $ 900 per night Peak Season (01 Dec - 31 Dec): $ 1000 per night It is also possible to book by the room (price from US$175 per night). Payment Policy A 15% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via our secure server or via bank transfer. Customers must pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer. A further 35% is payable 7 days after your confirmation. This should be paid direct to Ambalama's managing agents by bank transfer. The final 50% balance is to be paid one month prior to arrival at the Villa. Cancellation Policy The deposits are non refundable. |
