Please contact us for more details South Point Villa, located in Koggala (about 20 mins from Galle) is, in our opinion, one of the loveliest private villas in Sri Lanka. The architecturally designed building with ocean views to die for, along with its stylish interior taking advantage of the best of traditional Sri Lankan furnishings, is a villa to be proud of. The Sri Lankan owners have created a lovely home taking every detail into consideration. From the paintings on the walls down to the tiles in the bathrooms. Some wonderful pieces of traditional Sri Lankan antique furniture can be found throughout the villa. All tastefully positioned in pride of place. The location is a dream! The almost private beach opens onto a picturesque cove with an unspoilt white sandy beach. South Point provides safe swimming all year round. A fresh water pool provides a Jacuzzi bench with an infinite view through swaying mangroves of the ocean.

There are three very large air-conditioned deluxe bedrooms with teak and Asian oak floors. Each bedroom is tastefully furnished with antique furniture. All rooms have attached luxury bathrooms with 'his' and 'her' wash basins and a shower. Two of the rooms have stunning ocean views. The master bedroom also has a private verandah as well as ocean views. The pond room looks over the fresh water pond teeming with multi coloured fish. All rooms are provided with Cable TV and DVD. Internet points are available.

The sitting area with direct views of the ocean is exquisitely furnished with a selection of exotic rustic Indonesian & traditional Sri Lankan furniture. The sea breeze through the open verandahs is cooling. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas in the garden, by the pond and by the pool. This villa is for relaxing - reading books, enjoying the company of friends and family, sipping cocktails at sunset, and simply enjoying the best of Sri Lanka. |

The villa is fully staffed and includes a chef, steward and housemaids. Breakfast is included and consists of either Sri Lankan or western. The modern kitchen used by the villa staff is available for guest use. Alternatively the chef will be happy to prepare a selection of mouth watering dishes taking advantage of their speciality - the catch of the day! The local fishermen are known to the villa and guests are able to take advantage of fresh fish directly from the ocean to the villa.

OUR PROMISE: We do not mark up our rates, we sell at cost. Nor do we charge you extra for on-line credit/debit card payments Pricing The following rates displayed in £ Sterling are for guidance only. A conversion rate of 1.765 has been used. Up to 30th November 2006: US$450 ((£255) per night for exlcusive use of villa 01 Dec - 19 Dec 06: US$600 (£340) per night 20 Dec - 10 Jan 07: US$900 (£511)per night 11 Jan - 31 Jan 07: US$600 (£340) per night The above rates include breakfast. The villa charges 10% service charge on food & beverages. If you are interested in renting the villa by the room only, please contact us for rates. They range from US$165 - US$225 per night. Payment Policy A 15% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via our secure server or via bank transfer. Customers must pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer. A further 35% is payable 5 days after your confirmation. This should be paid direct to South Point by bank transfer to Sri Lanka account. The final 50% balance is due 2 weeks later. Cancellation Policy The 15% deposit is non refundable. Provided the villa owner is able to re-let the villa for the period booked by the client, the balance money will be refunded less 20% cancellation fee and any bank charges incurred by the Villa owner when refunding the money. On request we may transfer bookings to a new date depending on availability and subject to a USD 150/- charge, providing the request is made not less than 2 months prior to original date of booking. |
